Role:
Marketing and Bids Executive


Location:
Homebased (1 day a week in Milton Keynes ? flexible)


Salary:
Up to £37k DOE + 10% bonus


Summary:


Key responsibilities:


  • Identify, design and document scalable processes enabling the team to be more efficient
  • Develop measurement plans with benchmarks / goals for upcoming programmes
  • Monitor performance, develop insights, make recommendations and implement optimisations across MQL?s, SQL?s, pipeline, content, channels and campaigns
  • Serve as marketing project manager from inception through to execution / measurement
  • Manage list segmentation and scoring to improve engagement of prospects
  • Ensure data is syncs seamlessly in the CRM and monitoring of portals and mail box
  • Submission of tenders and reviewing bid opportunities
  • Manage of bid documentation, involvement with legal and coordination of departments
  • Integration with sales process to transition bids and research market trends to assist
  • Maintain an uptodate knowledge base of required commercial information
  • Ensure department procedures are followed and are auditable
  • Resolve tender issues and manage the risk associates to contracts

Skills and experience required:


  • Bid writing experience minimum 2 years ? (essential)
  • Energy/ utilities bid writing experience (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Public sector bid writing experience (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Marketing experience ? content writing, social media etc
  • Ability to communicate effectively / superb writing skills
  • Proactive review of documentation ensuring relevancy
  • Strong analytical skills, able to draw insights and intelligence from marketing data
  • Able to understand lead scoring/nurturing/segmentation customer management practices
  • A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, and attribution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fastpaced environment
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator and a desire to improve processes
  • Intermediate MS Word and Powerpoint skills and ability to write communications
  • Visual software tool and tender portal submissions experience (desirable)
