Are you a skilled administrator looking to contribute your organisational talents to the higher education sector? Are you known for your attention to detail and friendly approach? We are delighted to partner with a prestigious institution as they seek an Administrative Officer for a temporary, part-time role in Shrivenham, Swindon.

Working 20 hours a week, this position starts immediately and will run for 6 months with a hybrid working arrangement.


As an Administrative Officer, you will assume a pivotal role in coordinating various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of essential university functions.

Your responsibilities will include room and equipment bookings, visitor orientation, procurement, mail and print services, and other ad-hoc administrative duties.

Your friendly demeanour and exceptional organisational skills will be essential in this role.


Administrative Officer Key Responsibilities:


  • Efficiently booking rooms, AV equipment, catering, travel arrangements, and other essential services and facilities.
  • Facilitating site entry and ensuring visitor orientation and procedural compliance.
  • Managing the purchase, tracking, and distribution of business equipment.
  • Organising mail services, printing, photocopying, and handling other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinating timetabling requests and taking minutes during meetings.

Administrative Officer Key Skills:
