A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A strong foundation in accounting principles
  • Desire to study towards accountancy qualification
  • Previous or ongoing experience working in a finance setting
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work in a team and independently
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving
