Description
The main responsibilities for the HR Advisor position include:
- Payroll Administration:
- Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with a background in payroll and experience with the ADP system.
- Manage employee payroll records and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with finance teams to address payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy as well as strong communication skills to address inquiries effectively.
- People and Culture:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR matters related to performance, conflict resolution, and employee welfare.
- Conduct investigations on employee complaints or grievances and suggest appropriate solutions in line with company policies.
- Support project roll-outs, monitor progress, and assist in implementation as required.
- Aid in drafting documents for the Leadership Team.
- Assist with recruitment tasks and coordinate responses to key HR issues internally and externally.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities as needed on behalf of the P&C Manager.
- Assist in auditing HR policies, procedures, forms, and payroll processes for enhancement opportunities.
- Develop and implement initiatives to promote a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and retention.
- Contribute to creating metrics for core HR processes, performance evaluation, and conducting surveys for feedback purposes.
- Conduct bi-annual performance management cycles, offering training and engagement.
- Provide written performance review guidance to managers and expert advice on constructive reviews.
- Perform any other duties appropriate to the role as necessary.
Profile
The ideal candidate for this role possesses:
- Experience working with the ADP system, considered ESSENTIAL.
- Prior HR experience.
- Proficiency in HR processes and policies.
- Familiarity with a job evaluation system.
- Knowledge of Operational Employment Law.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across all organizational levels.
