JOB PURPOSE

As a Business Analyst within our Digital Business Transformation team, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions.

This will involve prioritising functional and technical requirements, identifying the business need and determining what is feasible to deliver.

None KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Takes full accountability for the successful definition and mapping of existing business process ('as is').
Takes full accountability for the successful definition and mapping of Proposed new business process ('to be').
Maintains records so that Harwoods leadership and key stakeholders can access and make use of the latest up to date 'as is' and 'to be' models.
Works with PM and other stakeholders to pro-actively highlight relevant risks, issues, actions, dependencies, decisions and assumptions related to their role, then works with them to propose or develop deliverable solutions; to enable successful project delivery.
When working on projects, maintains appropriate stakeholder engagement throughout the entire project lifecycle, adapting to various methodologies including Agile and waterfall.
Manages and conducts cross functional project engagement across a wide mix of business and technology divisions, located in multiple locations; championing collaborative working.
Management of key deliverables (such as user stories, process flows, use cases etc) to agreed specifications, timescales and budget whilst adhering to internal processes and controls.
To operate and develop, a robust set of business analysis processes in line with project management best practice.
Work closely to align Harwoods plans with strategic suppliers and agency partners plans, to ensure that all planning interdependencies are understood and tracked.
Support other project teams with documented methodology to ensure working practices and customer focused methodology is in place for future development.
Utilise data analytics tools to gather insights and support decision-making. Utilise data analytics tools to gather insights and support decision-making.
To support the project team to provide timely and accurate information Skills & Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a digital transformation environment.
Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and digital technologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with internal colleagues, partners and external suppliers, at all levels in order to perform role.
Well organised with the ability to manage several key activities across a number of projects adopting a hands-on approach.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot time critical issues.
