    Description

    Part-Time - Up to 4 days a week.

    Located in the charming New Forest in Hampshire, New Forest Care (NFC) is a top provider of children's residential care and Education services.

    We boast a dynamic clinical team, consisting of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Creative Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.

    Our clinical team is dedicated to delivering top-notch clinical services focused on enhancing the mental health and overall well-being of the children we serve.

    As we grow our team, we are currently seeking a new member to join us. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate compassion and expertise in working with children (up to 18 years old). Many of our children come with intricate attachment backgrounds and may have encountered early trauma.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Level 6+ Qualification in Child and Adolescent
    • Registered with the Association of Child Psychotherapists or UKCP
    • Must hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
    • Alternative Qualifications that would be accepted:
      • Level 6+ Qualification in Play Therapy and registration with BAPT
      • Clinical Counsellor or Forensic Psychologist registered with HCPC

    As part of your responsibilities, you will conduct therapeutic assessment, create formulations, and provide therapy to individual children. Collaborating closely with members from various teams in care and education settings, you will contribute to maintaining the care continuity and upholding the therapeutic structure for the child. Ensuring a consistent and robust support system surrounds the child is paramount.

    You will become a valued member of a welcoming and unified clinical team, with the position reporting to the Head of Clinical Services.
