This role as been assessed as office based.

The role will involve all aspects of buying administration including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with purchase requests from production and requisitions from internal department within the Adey Group.
  • Liaising effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Assist the hiring of products and equipment for site operations and under the guidance of the buyers acquire best price for relevant suppliers in the time constraints given.
  • Obtaining and filing of Test certificates, collating, and issuing when requested for specific job requirements.

Skills and experience required

  • Proficient in Excel and good working knowledge of other basic Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and negotiating skills
Salary starting £21,000 pa.

Hours of work Monday to Thursday, Friday.
