Purchase Office Assistant - Loughborough, United Kingdom - Adey Steel
Description
This role as been assessed as office based.The role will involve all aspects of buying administration including but not limited to:
- Assisting with purchase requests from production and requisitions from internal department within the Adey Group.
- Liaising effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Assist the hiring of products and equipment for site operations and under the guidance of the buyers acquire best price for relevant suppliers in the time constraints given.
- Obtaining and filing of Test certificates, collating, and issuing when requested for specific job requirements.
Skills and experience required
- Proficient in Excel and good working knowledge of other basic Microsoft packages.
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and negotiating skills
Hours of work Monday to Thursday, Friday.
