- To be responsible for the management and leadership of a team of health professionals providing care over a 24-hour period including responsibility for assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of care for the patients within their sphere of responsibility.

- To provide effective leadership and management to staff which promotes high performance standards both individually and as a team, in the achievement of the Trusts objectives and priorities. We are looking for a professional senior or experienced nurse to join our friendly team, who can lead, inspire and oversee the delivery of the best care as a Ward Manager at one of our three wards at Chichester Low Secure Centre.
Chichester Centre is located in Chichester, the centre of West Sussex which provides excellent road and public transport connections to London. The most prominent road in the area is the A27 coast road which connects Eastbourne to Southampton.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be responsible for the leadership in a ward area, in particular that of Nursing staff, but also will contribute to the effective working of the Multi-Disciplinary team; the post-holder will also be a member of the hospital leadership team.
This post offers the Trust's £4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners, as well as a relocation package up to a maximum of £8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).
