Description
A exciting opportunity has arisen for Warehouse Operators to join our clients well established company based in Skelmersdale.

  • Shift patterns : Mon to Thurs 7.50am to 4.45pm & Fri 7.50 to 12.10pm
  • Hours per week : 38HRS
  • Rate of pay : £11.3
  • Length of contract : ongoing
Duties

  • Working within a busy warehouse environment
  • Using fork trucks and pump trucks on occasions
  • Wrapping pallets of Finished Goods, Logs and Jumbos from Converting, Treating, and Coating.
  • Checking and verifying labels and packaging and moving to appropriate shipping lanes.
  • Processing, scanning, and shipping outbound material using LEX systems within SAP
  • Moving materials around the plant (inside and outside)
  • Receiving inbound raw materials and packaging checking and reporting damage and ensuring delivery paperwork is accurate.
  • Complete any assigned audits requested, Hoist, FLT, Safety Checks etc
  • Carry out your 5S audit every shift and report issues, Keep area Tidy
  • Be happy being on their feet for the entire shift
  • Lifting heavy items
  • Has a can do attitude
  • Is self motivated
