    Test & Verification Engineer

    Oxfordshire

    They operate from a modern 39,000 square foot facility in Oxfordshire, equipped with labs, custom test and validation facilities, and a manufacturing capacity of up to 20,000 units per year.

    The Opportunity

    Join the team as a Dyno Test & Verification Engineer.

    In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing electric flight technology and supporting the decarbonisation of aerospace.

    You will work on innovative projects, ensuring our products meet top performance, safety, and reliability standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute test plans for functionality, performance, and durability.
    • Conduct additional testing during the product lifecycle.
    • Liaise with external test houses for tests and schedules.
    • Develop and write test cases as per project requirements.
    • Supervise Test Technicians during setup and operation.
    • Prepare test rigs, set up data acquisition systems and software.
    • Review test installations, ensuring best practices and safety.
    • Analyse data and create engineering test reports.
    • Support HSE requirements, develop SWIs, and assist with risk assessments.
    • Identify and implement improvements in functional test areas.
    • Maintain and calibrate test rigs as needed.
    • Assist with test rig upgrades and new builds.
    • Address organizational initiatives and engineering challenges.

    About You

    • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
    • Experience with dynamometers, laboratory equipment, and testing motors or powertrain systems.
    • Proficiency in MATLAB or NI tools for data analysis and scripting.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
    • Hands-on approach to test setup and data acquisition.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
