- Plan, teach and assess on one or more of the courses delivered within Creative and Cultural Industries sector, ranging from level 1 to Level 5, or serviced, by the curriculum area and contribute to the development of existing and new, innovative provision, including the implementation of motivational, flexible and blended learning and cost effective teaching and learning styles
- Develop and implement learner-centered, learner assessment strategies in accordance with college policies (which place learners at the centre and emphasize the significance of constructive and developmental feedback for successful learning). Awarding Body assessment requirements must also be followed rigidly
- Complete the administrative work associated with teaching efficiently and effectively, including timely completion of registers (which are auditable documents and a requirement by law), lesson planning documentation, schemes and records of work, E-ILPs, learner tracking and monitoring documentation and various forms of learner progression sheets
- Participate in the marketing, recruitment, selection and interviewing processes for new learners and actively be engaged in induction activities for new learners
- Possess a teaching qualification or be prepared to undertake a further education teaching qualification within one year
- Have a degree or equivalent qualification in a subject relevant to the courses delivered in digital media.
- Have recent and relevant experience of teaching the subject to learners from Level 1 to Level 6 higher education
- Experience of general Art and Design practice and knowledge/understanding of contemporary and historical Art and Design practice. Experience of Adobe Creative Suite is desirable and working knowledge on both PC and Apple Mac software is essential
- Evidence of recent teaching and assessment practical issues in delivering subject programme
- Understanding of Safeguarding Legislation and its application within the educational sector
- Commitment to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults

You will join us on a part-time 21.6 hours per week (0.6 FTE), permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £24,872-£43,440 pa including LW (to be pro rata'd to 0.6 FTE)
