Job Purpose
As a Rankings and Accreditation Co-Ordinator you will manage alongside Accreditations, Rankings and Communication Manager (ARC) and the Accreditation and Rankings Deputy Manager, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of objectives relating to School/student rankings surveys, Athena Swan, and School accreditations.
You will manage ranking projects and Athena Swan submissions from inception through to implementation that will support the strategic themes of the business needs of the school.
Furthermore, the role holder will contribute to the school's rankings, Athena Swan and triple crown accreditations, as well as other awards, ensuring continuous improvement as well as supporting the brand and reputation to meet the school strategic objectives:- Financial Times

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the compilation of the school's rankings submissions by collecting the data for each ranking and providing analysis of a variety of data in different formats, highlighting issues for the rankings team to consider.
- Act as one of the principal points of contact with the various external organisations related to rankings/ league tables ensuring an excellent working relationship is established and maintained.
- Ensure that material collected for ranking submissions is factually accurate, fully auditable, in a form suitable for submission, and shared among school staff as needed.
- Coordinate communications with staff, students, and alumni to ensure the significance and importance of rankings, current and planned future performance is fully understood.
- Gather and analyse data on rankings across a range of peer, comparison, and aspirant institutions.
- Develop and enhance systems and processes to support the submissions to rankings on an ongoing basis, keeping the rankings dashboard up to date.
- Maintain an overview/track yearly league table activity to assist in the planning of communication needs, data collection requirements.
- Assist in planning and coordinating internal communications campaigns related to rankings activities.
- Coordinate communications with staff, students, and alumni to ensure the significance and importance of rankings, current and planned future performance is fully understood.
- Organise information sessions for students, inviting key guests to speak about the importance of rankings.
- Support the ARC Manager and Accreditation and Rankings deputy manager in providing guidance and ensuring compliance with criteria/methodology, consulting with the ranking professional bodies and informing the school rankings group on improvements, revisions and changing priorities as directed by the ARC Manager.
- Responsible for the QS World Ranking data gathering process. Working with the ARC Manager and Accreditation and Rankings Deputy Manager to enhance the process, create timelines and work with various members of the school to ensure contacts are gathered to submit as part of the Academic and Employability Reputation survey. Working closely with the planning office and other colleagues around the University on the University submission and reporting insights back to the rankings committee.
- Manage large volumes of complex data, including all data submitted for the rankings survey and mandatory data for the Athena Swan submission. This will involve drawing data from various sources including the School, the College and the University and ensuring the data is accurate. Providing data analysis and reports to support the rankings and Athena Swan submissions and decision making.
- Responsible for maintenance of the Rankings and Athena Swan website, SharePoint and teams' site ensuring information is accurate and up to date in conjunction with the Accreditations Manager.
- Providing administrative support for the Chair
- Taking minutes at monthly meetings
- Producing action grids and monitoring these/liaising with colleagues to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Collecting data to inform school wide rankings policymaking.
- Ensuring the data is kept up to date.
- Support the SAT subgroups.
- Support the Accreditation Team during peak periods of the triple crown and supporting data collections and intelligence gathering.
