    As an Events Manager you will lead an exciting range of strategic engagement events for the College of Social Sciences (CoSS).

    Working within the Engagement & Impact Team and supported by an Events Support Administrator, the role will be responsible for planning and delivering a strategic programme of events that advance the delivery of the College's Research & Knowledge Exchange Strategy.

    This will encompass the management of high-profile online and in-person events, connecting researchers with stakeholders, working across the wide range of social science disciplines, and combining a vibrant public-facing and inclusive programme of activities. These activities will enhance the College's reputation locally, nationally and internationally and strengthen relationships with key partners.

    On a day-to-day basis, the role will oversee the creative development, communication, timetabling and delivery plans for CoSS events, managing budgets and logistics, and liaising with colleagues from across the University to deliver a professional events experience. The role will also lead the development and implementation of robust evaluation that will feed into the process of capturing and measuring engagement and impact.
