    Description

    We are currently looking for a Tax Assistant to join a company in Kettering.

    As a Tax Assistant, you will be reporting to the Chief Accountant and collaborating closely with the Tax and Compliance Accountant to ensure smooth operations within the department, specifically focusing on Tax and Compliance tasks.

    Study support is provided, along with a well-defined career progression plan. If you are ambitious and motivated, this position is tailor-made for you.

    Here are some of the key responsibilities:

    • Assisting the team in preparing company filings.
    • Filing company house accounts.
    • Addressing routine tax queries.
    • Managing tax issues and communicating with HMRC on behalf of clients.
    • Collecting necessary information for compliance purposes.
    • Conducting research on various taxation areas and providing advice as needed.
    • Preparing self-assessment returns.
    • Supporting the Payroll function.
