Description
Our service supports residents to enable them to live their lives safely and independently in their own homes, providing specialist advice, support and guidance on a range of preventative measures and delivering disabled facilities grants, handyperson and other related services.
The Role
As Home Improvement Agency Manager, you will have a key role to play in ensuring successful outcomes for our residents in the newly formed countrywide Home Improvement Agency. You will be supporting the Head of Housing Renewal and working with your team to improve and drive efficiencies to maximise quality outcomes for our residents. This role requires strategic thinking to help drive service development, you will lead and advice the team and work in line with appropriate frameworks and legislation and deliver training, development, and performance management. You will develop and implement policies and procedures at team level and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to maintain best practice and effective partnership working.

You will be an exceptional, enthusiastic individual who wants to make a real difference to the quality of life of our older disabled and vulnerable residents. This is an excellent opportunity for you to help shape the future success of the service and to ensure the delivery of positive outcomes and improvements. You will have knowledge and experience of good practice standards and the legal framework in relation to the specialist area and an awareness of current national developments with experience of multi-agency working. You will have experience of performance management, continuous service improvement along with budget management. You will effectively lead, manage, and motivate the team and monitor services and practices to ensure agreed standards are maintained and intervene constructively where necessary.
