We are excited to share with you the opportunity for a Senior Customer Consultant to join our new flagship branch at Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to play a crucial part in the success of our new flagship branch, providing excellent service to our members.

You will have previous experience of working within a building society.

What will you be doing?

You will inspire and engage colleagues and customers by role modelling the Society values and champion a culture of positivity and high performance, delivering excellence to our members on every single interaction.

As a Senior Customer Consultant your role will involve supporting regular coaching and observations, providing feedback to develop branch colleagues.

*Your key tasks and responsibilities will include: - Perform cashiering duties and customer onboarding to take ownership of the more complex customer queries.


Maintain the highest standards of administration, ensuring that all administrative systems and procedures, correspondence and enquiries are completed in a timely and accurate manner and in line with the Society Privacy Policy.


Ensure that the branch is well presented at all times with up to date and compliant literature on display and available.

Support branch oversight.

Working with the ABM and FBM to ensure all monitoring checks of branch and any linked agency are carried out accurately and within timescale.

Oversight of account opening checks to ensure customers are onboarded effectively and compliantly.

Continually seek ways to improve on all areas within your remit.

Proactively provide ideas and solutions to ABM and FBM to drive forward continuous improvement solutions with fully considered business cases where appropriate.


Pro-actively increase the profile of the branch and Society to develop, nurture and maintain quality links with the local business community.

Promoting brand awareness within geographical location, increasing profile of branch and being the 'face of the Monmouthshire' within the local community building long term business relationships.

What type of person will you need to be?
You will be an experienced, passionate and customer-focused cashier, with proven experience of developing, coaching and supporting your team.

You will demonstrate a good knowledge of external markets and will feel confident talking to customers about our product offering.

You will be adaptable to change and calm under pressure, with a passion for exceeding in customer experience and delivery for our members.

Salary:
£23,500.00 per year
