- Advise on a range of Employment issues across a breadth of sectors
- Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within Employment, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole Employment team to share knowledge.
- Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.
- Primarily work on behalf of employers and respondents but with the ability to act for senior employees / executives or members of representative organisations , if required.
- Manage a varied caseload including; - Corporate Support; Drafting Contracts, Settlement Agreements; Restrictive Covenants; Re-organisations and TUPE
- All types of ET work (including some advocacy) for Claimants and Respondents (we are on a national panel for a very large representative organisation)
- Familiarity with CPR and employment related civil litigation desirable.
- HR support work for business and third sector clients.
- Excellent organisational capability with excellent attention to detail
- Ideally 3-5 years PQE
- Proven ability to develop business
- Team player who can offer support and guidance to other team members and work collaboratively and collegially with colleagues
- Client service focussed with the ability to handle demanding stakeholders
- Ideally with respondent / commercial or public sector experience. Alternatively, candidates with significant experience of acting for representative organisations will be considered
