An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time ) Team Secretary to join the clinical support team working within the Specialist Service Network, based at the Edenfield Centre, Adult Forensic Service in Prestwich.

As you will see on the Job Description, the post involves a wide variety of duties to help support and co-ordinate the Matron's team.

The Edenfield Centre provides secure treatment for men and women in Greater Manchester. The unit is situated on the Prestwich site.

Our service provides individualised care and treatment for people with enduring mental health needs.

A wide range of treatment is available including psychological and other therapeutic interventions and our clinical teams work collaboratively with the service user towards their recovery and discharge.

Clinical teams include a consultant psychiatrist, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers.

The post-holder should be an excellent communicator with experience of working to tight and changing deadlines.

Applicants will be highly organised and efficient with excellent time and diary management skills and the ability to prioritise requests and to deal with conflicting demands.

A high level of attention to detail supported by strong ICT skills is essential.


Ideally you will have worked in an NHS administrative role and will have proficiency in electronic patient record systems and processes, and have proven skills and experience of providing secretarial support to large teams.
