James, we have a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to progress their career as a Housekeeping Linen Porter.

The Role

We are seeking a driven individual who always strives to exceed expectations to join the talented housekeeping team at The Trafalgar St James.

The Housekeeping Linen Porter will be the first point of contact for our Room Attendants, responding to all queries in a timely and professional manner and assisting the department in providing service on a daily basis.

As a Housekeeping Linen Porter you will:

Be responsible for maintaining accurate linen inventory records, including tracking stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed. This ensures seamless operations and prevents any shortages that could impact guest satisfaction.
Inspect all linens, towels, and other housekeeping supplies for cleanliness, wear and tear, and overall quality. Identify and address any issues promptly to uphold the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of linen carts, bins, and other equipment used in the transportation and storage of linens. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Provide assistance and support to Room Attendants and other housekeeping staff as needed, including helping with room turnovers, restocking supplies, and responding to guest requests or inquiries.

This role will require strong communication and multitasking skills and determination alongside the ability to work in a team or individual as per business requirements.

The Person

An experienced individual, who will have either a luxury hotelier or a high standards background is desired but not essential as we are able to train the individual with the right attitude.

We look for a team player who is dedicated, hard-working and possesses the determination to maintain consistency in delivering outstanding results.
