Attention to detail and accuracy is also so important as your role will involve undertaking pre-employment checks, processing of specified staff forms forms, the provision of administrative support to the Registration Authority (RA) process as well as production of offers of employment letters, contracts and other general administrative duties.

They will also be required to input and process information via the Trust recruitment system TRAC.

There's lots going on, it will be demanding & you'll need to be flexible in your approach to work as well as patient & empathetic to deal with anything that comes along.


You will will provide admin support to the Recruitment Team within the Human Resources Directorate, contributing to the provision of a professional and comprehensive administration and recruitment service to the Trust.

Undertake pre-employment checks:

Assist in the pre-employment check process

Update and maintain ESR inputting check information

Process ESR change forms

Issuing of contracts and other documentation relating to contractual changes under the direction of the relevant Recruitment Officer

Assisting with the Advertising of all Trust posts under the direction of the relevant Recruitment Officer:
Amend adverts on Trac and NHSjobs

Close Vacancies

Liaise with managers for outstanding short-lists

Represent the Trust and the NHS at recruitment events / Job fairs / careers promotions as required.

Issuing ID badges and smart cards

Issuing and Maintenance of Smart Cards

Assist with Induction and onboarding preparation


General Administrative Duties:

Photocopying/Scanning

Data Inputting

Archiving of Recruitment Records

Liaise and effectively communicate with other members of the team and the Directorate

Contribute to the efficient and effective working of the Directorate by operating as a full member of the Human Resources team

- covering for colleagues
- maintaining continuous personal and professional development
- supporting initiatives to improve areas of service
