    Support Worker in Supported Living Service at Halifax

    Salary: £13 per hour

    Join our team as a support worker in our supported living facility, playing a crucial role in providing compassionate care to individuals with mental health difficulties, learning challenges, and challenging behavior. You will offer dedicated support on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, helping individuals with understanding and empathy.

    Working in care is more than a job; it's a chance to positively impact someone's journey. Care workers enhance lives through compassion and dedication, maintaining outstanding care quality recognized by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Person-Centred Support: Provide empathetic support tailored to individual needs
    • Challenging Behaviour Management: De-escalate behaviors professionally
    • Mental Health Support: Offer emotional support and access to services
    • Learning Difficulties Support: Assist in daily activities and skill development
    • Collaborative Approach: Work with multidisciplinary teams for integrated support
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports
    • Promoting Independence: Encourage independence and community participation
    • Must have a full UK driving license and access to a car
