    Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our client is a well-known company looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary 4-week basis working 32 hours per week Monday to Thursday office based. This person must be able to start ASAP.

    This job would suit someone with previous accounts experience including processing invoices, ideally within the construction/engineering industry.

    This company is a specialist service provider with a great track record in an industry that adds significant value to its customers. The company continues to go from strength to strength and will offer the successful individual a good career opportunity.

    The successful individual will have experience in a fast-moving finance function. You must be available on short notice as this position is to start ASAP. You will have the ability to communicate and build relationships at a high level to deal with external queries and internal stakeholders. Attention to detail is critical to ensure correct processing and preparation for payment runs. Sage experience is desired.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Processing invoices on Sage
    • Identify duplicates, organise corrections and credit notes.
    • Proactively and efficiently dealing with supplier queries.
    • Assist with ad hoc department projects as required
