WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FOR
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to work in the Teesside area.

The role centres on managing the day-to-day engineering of a large multi-million pound civil engineering and building project.

You will utilise your building and civil engineering knowledge to oversee the management of a large number of contractors and sub-contractors.

The aim is to ensure the smooth delivery of the works on this prestige project

Job Summary / PerformanceObjective to achieve

Maintain, check and control the quality of materials and site works according to the Quality Management System
Site inspection according planned inspection schedule and Inspection report
Coordination with construction team

Qualification

B.Sc in Civil Engineering or associate engineering science
Over 5years experience in QA/QC of building/ construction sector

Tasks & Responsibility

Monitor and administer the QA/QC Plan or Programme and ensure the materials on site are in compliance with

the approved engineering submittals and specifications

Ensure that the work is performed as required by the Contract and meets the required quality criteria
Ensure the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the site works
Provide assistance to Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer such as by checking if steel reinforcements

are as per the approved engineering submittals and specifications

Issue reports of materials delivery/receipts
Inspect concreting works, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test in the presence of the Engineer

or Consultant

Inspect Finishing works in the presence of the Engineer or Consultant,
Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company's Health, Safety and Environment Management System
Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirement

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
5+ years site experience
Experience in a QA/QC Supervisorr role
Based in the Teesside area (or close to)
Civil & building experience
Degree or HND qualified

Valid CSCS card
Competent to work alone

Desirable are:
Building & civil engineering experience on large projects

Main contractor experience

WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLE?
This is a permanent role centring on day shift hours

WHAT SALARY PACKAGE YOU WILL BE RECEIVING
Salary is negotiable with experience

Circa £ depending on experience
