FEMALE Support Workers only.
Our in-house Learning Disabilities Trainer will ensure you have the competencies and specialist learning disabilities training for your role.
- Pay
:£10.00 p/hr (8am8pm) - Working on shifts,
paid from start to finish. - Mileage
40p per mile & 15p per mile for cyclists:
Bonus schemes:up to £300 new starter (based on average hours worked), £300 Refer a Friend, £250 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher
As a
Learning Disabilities Support Worker
, you will be based in Low Fell
, supporting a very sociable and artistic 56-year-old woman
to live a happy and fulfilled life, participating in local community activities such flower arranging, going for coffee, shopping, arts & crafts.
She loves baking and enjoys her fashion. **You will support this individual to learn independent living skills such as managing a tenancy, cooking, and cleaning.
LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit experienced
Support Workers to join a newly established Independent Supported Living (ISL) service in the
Low Fell (NE10) area of Gateshead. As a
Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be part of an integral team providing tailored person-centred care to our tenants which is both meaningful and wellbeing focused.

We offer various shift patterns, including:
- Parttime hours available
- Fulltime hours available
- Weekend work undertaken on a rota basis.
- 12hr shifts (8am8pm)

Paid induction training: 2 weeks classroom-based, includes 2 days shadowing and additional online modules. Care certificate completed within 3 months.
