Duties:

This role has the potential for growth and additional duties within the next coming years.

It is an exciting opportunity for anyone that wants to be part of a growing business and have a high sense of achievement of being part of the changes made.

These duties are inclusive but not limited to the following:

  • All aspects of Purchase ledger processing.
  • Including Checking & Entering Invoices/credit Notes to Sage 50 Accounts
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Raising & Processing BACS Payment Runs
  • External & Internal Invoice query Management
  • Month End Reconciliations and Reports
  • Answering Phones & fielding Sales calls
  • Holiday cover such as Payroll Hrs, Credit Control & Importing Sales Invoices to Sage 50 Accounts.
  • To gain an understanding of all accounts processes and help to drive improvements.

About you:


This would be the perfect position for someone that is looking to make the role their own and progress our systems as the Company grows.

We are looking for someone that has a passion for what they do and want the freedom to excel in their career.


  • Must be able to work on own and as part of a team with a 'can do' attitude
  • Good Communication and time management skills
  • Experienced in a Purchase Ledger role, and ideally a working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts would be preferable but not essential.
  • AAT Level one or higher would be preferable but not essential
  • Proactive and solution based thinker
  • Strong Excel, & Outlook
  • Happy working in a busy environment
  • Reliable, trustworthy and punctual with a flexible approach to work
  • Excellent attention to detail, and take pride in their work
  • To be meticulous and a selfstarter

Hours of work hours per week:
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 16:00pm


Pay:
starting £26k
