They have a dedicated division offering advice on VAT, Customs and Excise duties and employment related taxes.


With offices in the Thames Valley and central London, they are able to assist businesses from any sector and of any size both nationally and internationally.

They focus on providing timely, common sense advice and solutions for the clients.


The Role:


To undertake a wide variety of accounting assignments, including VAT return preparation, to a high standard of technical competence, delivered with a good degree of autonomy, and within budget and client expectations.


Principle Duties:


  • Provide accounting services to clients accurately and to budget and time deadlines
  • Undertake efficient and accurate bookkeeping in respect of client's accounting records.
  • Prepare client's VAT returns with a high level of technical understanding and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Respond to ad hoc client requests in respect of their financial affairs in a timely manner.
  • Build solid and trusting relationships with clients and staff.

Key Activities:


  • Attending client site to undertake the following:
  • Collating client's accounting records.
  • Posting client's accounting transactions into Sage50 mainly.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Prepare payment runs for approval and then subsequently make payment runs.
  • Monitor weekly cashflow.
  • Reviewing transactions to confirm their VAT treatment.
  • Preparing VAT returns and related workings.
  • Provide technical support to clients when required.
