    Do you hold a current GDC licence to practice? Do you have previous experience in paediatric dentistry? Are you looking to work in a multidisciplinary, regional service?

    The South West Cleft Service is recruiting a part-time specialist paediatric dentist (1PA) to provide specialist care for patients with cleft lip and/or palate. The postholder will join a network of clinicians who provide multi-disciplinary care across the South West.

    Responsibilities will include:

    New patient referral clinics

    Treatment clinics

    Clinical audit clinics (including successful calibration for data collection with the paediatric dental clinical excellence network)

    Multidisciplinary planning and review clinics with support from lead paediatric dentist as required.

    Key qualities and experience required:

    Previous working experience within Paediatric Dentistry is essential.

    Applicants will need to be registered with the GDC including on the specialist list for Paediatric Dentistry.

    Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, clinical colleagues, support staff and other colleagues.

    Understanding of the dental implications associated with cleft lip/palate.
