Description
The main purpose of the role is to provide support in the busy warehouse and sales counter. The business is looking to recruit an experienced person or an apprentice.

Key Duties

  • Responsibility for booking all goods received into the warehouse within the agreed service level.
  • Adhering to the full booking in process and allocating the correct location using our internal booking in system inclusive of correct labelling and signage required.
  • Ensuring that company stock movements are recorded correctly.
  • Ownership for the dispatching of all goods to our customers within the agreed service level.
  • Ensuring items that are picked are ready for dispatch within the agreed service levels for the inhouse drivers and external courier services.
  • Responsibility for maintaining and replenishing the correct stock levels.
  • To maintain high standards of data accuracy in relation to stock adjustments and stock allocation.
  • To take initiative and comfortably respond to any queries, working closely with other members of the team.

  • You should be good at building relationships whether you have work experience or have just left education.
  • Be keen to learn and build a new skill set.
  • Be genuinely interested in the engineering industry and learning all you can to become a professional.
  • Be friendly, approachable, flexible, be a team player and like to work hard
