- Oversee and control budgets, taking charge of allocated budgets and settling contractual payments.

About the Role
As our next Area Service Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for executing a varied works program, encompassing both Capital and revenue projects totaling approximately 3.5 million in value. It is crucial to ensure that projects adhere to Council policies and procedures within specified timelines and budgets. Moreover, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and efficiency of the workforce under your supervision, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
The position plays a key role in our Maintenance team, overseeing a designated geographical area in the city and managing projects ranging from minor patching to substantial surfacing and infrastructure works. As an Area Manager, you will also be required to contribute to winter maintenance services and address off-hours emergencies in Leeds, with training provided and additional compensation offered.

Job Description
Job Purpose: To oversee an operational service dedicated to designing, procuring, and managing the construction of highway infrastructure maintenance and winter service programs and projects in alignment with statutory obligations, policies, standards, and specifications.

Incorporated Engineer or substantial equivalent relevant experience in highway maintenance and construction.
