Description

My client is currently looking for a Graduate Embedded Systems Engineer to join their company based close to Kirkbymoorside. Within the role you'll provide engineering support and control functions under the instruction of Senior Engineers.

Due to the location of the role, you will need a driving license and your own transport.

What's in it for you?
- £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

37 hours per week (08:30 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:30 16:00 Friday)
Overtime paid at time and a half Monday

Your new role as a Graduate Embedded Systems Engineer

Providing design input on projects and producing engineering designs, specifications and documents to ISO 900
Assisting with the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals
Ensuring the suitability of engineering aspects of company products for their function
Working within budgets and timescales set by the company, and within the requirements of company procedures and national/international guidelines

Essential Technical Competencies & Qualifications

High level language programming in C, C++ and C#
Real time programming
Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Programming
Microcontroller programming
Design of analogue and digital electronic circuits and PCBs

Essential Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and record keeping
Excellent attention to detail and highly organised, with an effective checking regime and the ability to problem solve
Safety conscious, attentive to QHSE policies and regulations (ISO 9001 QA systems)
PCB breadboard prototyping using soldering iron and hand tools
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidiscipline team or individual on projects
