Ariat are recruiting for a Demand Planning Assistant to join the Demand Planning team.

This role will work with high volumes of data and will manage all aspects of product intake to efficiently bring stock into the business, so that it is ready for onward sales and distribution.

This role would suit someone:

Who has some previous work experience for example in admin, customer service, order processing with an understanding of data and is looking start a career in demand planning, or
Who is looking for their first role and has an interest in a career in demand planning. Someone with potential to develop, with good Excel numerical skills

This role is on a
hybrid working pattern, with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week on site in our office in Harwell, Oxfordshire.

Key Tasks

Proactively track and communicate product intake, delays or impacts during the endtoend process while optimising stock holding across all channels.
Support management with forecasting to bring in the right volumes to achieve sales and targets.
Responsible for efficient and timely intake of stock into the business
System accuracy, ensuring updated with correct volumes and latest delivery dates
Tracking and Communication of intake dates and delays
Liaising with the warehouse on stock receipts/discrepancies
Working with freight forwarder to ensure timely and costeffective shipments
Responsible for best use of stock across all channels
Supporting DP manager with forecasting and data analysis
Building relationships with the International Team as appropriate to further key accountabilities
Assisting in adhoc projects
