28Feb2024 A newbuild structural warranty provider now requires a Building Inspector to operate in the vicinity of Kington and Knighton. Traditional housing, and flats / mixeduse developments up to 5 storeys will feature, including basements/ podiums/ complex elements. The role requires existing building control and structural warranty site inspection experience in line with Class 2 competency. Basic salary circa £45,000 £50,000 plus bonus, travel allowance, highly competitive pension, with the opportunity for career progression. Building Inspector responsibilities:
Undertake inspection of works and produce reports
Ensure all relevant inspections have been performed with appropriate certification submitted, and defects/nonconformities addressed ahead of final certification
Carrying out duties in accordance with QMS procedures
Delivery of consistent service and building effective client relationships
Contribute to external client meetings
Building Inspector requirements:
Associate / Full membership of RICS/ CABE/ CIOB preferred
Existing Building Control / Warranty site inspection experience in line with a Class 2 Inspector
Relationship management
