Senior Marketing Executive:


CloudM has significant expansion plans in 2023/2024, so this role will be an integral part of the company's growth, and will support not only the marketing team, but will also have regular contact with the business development, sales and product development teams.


With support from the Marketing Lead and the wider marketing team, the role will enable you to take ownership of our organic and paid social media strategy, manage and implement changes to the website through our easy to use but sophisticated CMS, implement key SEO activity, assist with our product marketing strategy, use your copywriting skills for all areas of the business and assist with our paid and organic search strategies.

You'll also be responsible for organising our attendance at worldwide tech industry events.


What you'll do:


  • Take ownership of our organic social media strategy.
  • Assist the product marketing team with copywriting for blogs, case studies and other forms of content.
  • Liaise with our product team to communicate product changes to customers.
  • Organise and implement website changes through our custom built CMS.
  • Direct our inhouse development team to make improvements to the website.
  • Assist with our Conversion Rate Optimisation strategy.
  • Become comfortable with our CRM system
  • Hubspot.
  • Assist with our ongoing Search Engine Optimisation strategy.
  • Communicate with 3rd party publications to help boost our online presence.
  • Manage our full calendar of international exhibition events.

Key Skills:


  • Knowledge or experience using Google Workspace (G Suite) or Microsoft 36
  • In depth Knowledge of social media platforms Linkedin, Twitter & Facebook, and experience using their advertising tools.
  • Previous long form copywriting experience.
  • Previous experience working with an inhouse web team to brief and manage development changes.
  • Previous experience designing graphic designer briefs.
  • Experience creating content using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
  • Experience writing copy for social media posts, paid adverts and website content.
  • Project management experience in order to create processes and effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • An eye for detail and an interest in data analysis.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:


  • Previous events management experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience using the adobe creative cloud suite of products.
  • Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce or a similar CRM.
  • Experience creating and managing paid search ads.
  • Experience creating formulas, tables and dashboards in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.

Our office is based in Manchester, however we are more than happy to consider remote working for this position.
