Key Responsibilities
As we are a small, fast paced business, responsibilities may change from time to time.

As a guide, the QA technologist will be involved in:

Proactively engaging with staff to improve quality culture across all departments
Finished product and environment microbiological and allergen testing
Leading taste panels, reporting findings & addressing nonconforming product
Conducting internal calibrations, managing external calibration schedule
Conducting GMP, foreign body and procedure audits, driving closeout of resulting actions
Checking and filing production paperwork to ensure due diligence for every batch
Conducting microbiological and organoleptic testing over shelf life
Managing the onhold process for nonconforming materials and product
Conducting routine challenges of the traceability system
Assisting with complaints investigations
Assisting with training out procedures
Supporting activities during customer and thirdparty audits
Strong attention to detail
Proficient IT skills
Excellent communication
Previous experience in highrisk/high care food manufacturing
Assertive: willing and able to drive quality culture on the factory floor

Desired but not essential

Previous quality assurance experience

Food safety Level

HACCP Level 2
