Introduction
Swiis operates a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.


The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Swiis Foster Care as a Foster Care Recruitment Coordinator.


As one of the Foster Care Recruitment Coordinators of our outstanding foster carer recruitment team based in central Bristol, you will play a key role in ensuring we recruit exceptional foster carers across the UK to care for children and young people in our care.


Working closely with the Team Leader, you will be responsible for undertaking the full administrative function for the recruitment of foster carers.

You will undertake screening assessments and manage all enquiry calls from prospective foster carers across the UK.


You will be responsible for undertaking all safer recruitment checks on prospective foster carers to ensure that we exceed the requirements of the relevant Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards.

You will work as part of a successful and ambitious team in the coordination of all Fostering Assessments of prospective foster carers wishing to join Swiis.


You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to undertake a high level of telephone usage with prospective foster carers, be able to prioritise your daily workload and have excellent IT and word processing skills.


Working in accordance with the relevant Fostering legislation, you will provide an exceptional recruitment service to our local office network across the UK by safely recruiting excellent foster carers who can provide a nurturing home to children and young people in our care.

You will have a strong commitment to promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing of children and young people but also have an appreciation of the demands that come with working for a high-quality independent fostering service in an increasingly competitive environment.


You will be passionate about changing a child's life for the better, working as part of an exceptional dedicated team.


You must:

  • Have experience in a similar administration/recruitment role.
  • Be proactive with a good eye for detail.
  • Excellent administration and coordination skills
  • Be organised & supportive of others
  • Have impeccable written and verbal English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Efficient and highly organised
  • Pragmatic and confident with a 'can do' attitude

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week 9am to 5pm.
