AK Teaching, a reputable education recruitment agency, is currently seeking experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join a thriving SEND provision in Gateshead.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide invaluable support to students with special educational needs in a variety of settings.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the wellbeing and development of students.
  • Work with a diverse range of ages, ensuring that each student receives tailored support.

Requirements:


  • Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare qualification is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in an SEND setting is essential.
  • Comfortable working with a range of ages and adaptable to varying learning needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a nurturing approach.

Qualifications:


  • Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare qualification (desirable).

Working Hours:


  • Monday
  • Friday (No weekends)

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£85.00-£95.00 per day
