Business Development Manager - Logistics and Ecommerce solutions
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus car allowance, Target Bonus, Enhanced Pension, Private Medical, Life Assurance x 3 annual salary, 25+8days holiday.

Central England based Ideally Warwick, Milton Keynes or South Yorkshire. Sales UK wide.


Working for a global, market leading business this role will see you supplying a product to the Logistics and Ecommerce sector.

This is a high growth area of the business, and you will be responsible for new business acquisition and developing customersthat already utilise the business in other categories.


Business Development Manager main duties will include.

  • To research, target, introduce and convert appropriate new client opportunities within the Logistics and Ecommerce sector.
  • Where appropriate, assist with the development of existing retail accounts, who currently take other company products and services but are yet to view the company as a logistics and Ecommerce solutions provider
  • Maximise the company's exposure to the sector as a whole, ensuringawareness of both our wide range of standard solutions and importantly our bespoke solution capabilities.
  • Build initial and ongoing client relationships based on operational / process knowledge, networking at all levels to ensure maximum exposure via operational stakeholders, procurement and project delivery personnel within client organisations
  • Forecast and perform to an annual target, continually demonstrating progress to plan from both a sales and profit perspective.

Business Development Manager knowledge skills and experience needed

  • Be able to demonstrate success within high value sales, experience within sales to the logistics or ecommerce sector would be an advantage but not essential
  • Have a consultativesales approach and ability
  • Have a proactive and driven mindset with a focus on close the deal and winning
  • Value your own and the company's reputation based on performance, integrity and achievement
  • Understand the commercial aspect of business, a good negotiator and not undersell
