Are you a seasoned Section Engineer with a passion for excellence in the realm of Civil Engineering? If so, we have an exceptional opening for a dedicated individual to enhance our Site Management team and propel our NI Water projects to new heights.

The ideal Section Engineer we're seeking should possess:

Significant experience as a Section Engineer
A strong background in Civil Engineering, with a specific focus on Water projects (highly advantageous)
Exceptional communication skills to facilitate a collaborative work environment
Experience with a Main Contractor (highly valued)
A full driving license (an essential requirement)

Your daily responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of critical tasks, including:

Undertaking precise Surveying and Setting Out duties to ensure accuracy in our projects
Diligently checking drawings and quantities
Coordinating the scheduling of materials for procurement
Efficiently planning and organizing site operations to meet established deadlines
Collaborating with consultants and sub-contractors engaged in the project
Supervising and meticulously monitoring the site labor force while overseeing the work of sub-contractors
Ensuring strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
Maintaining comprehensive quality records essential to meet stringent quality standards
Resolving unexpected technical challenges and addressing other problems that may arise
Arranging for the testing of materials and the calibration of instruments used
Maintaining a detailed Site Diary
Actively engaging with other members of the construction site team to foster a spirit of teamwork
Liaising with other function and departmental managers
Introducing innovative solutions and improvements where necessary in your area of responsibility
Undertaking any other duties as requested by the Site Manager to facilitate the smooth progress of the construction project
