Are you ahighly experienced and skilled bookkeeper with an excellent eye for detail who is well organised with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both in a team but also autonomously?Are you a
natural highly personable multi-tasker, seeking a role that will be highly fulfilling working with teams that are diverse, forward thinking and supportive?
This role would suit a dynamic problem solver who has a thirst and aptitude for continuous learning and development.
It will also require someone with strong computer literacy skills, including the MS suite as well as being a confident communicator bothin person, online and over the telephone.

working across multiple sites with regular travel across Devon spanning many areas of the beautiful county; specifically, but not exclusively the Exeter, Torbay, Teignbridge and the South Hams regions.

The role will include (but is not exclusive to):
- Entering monthly receipts and payments into online accounting system, including associated Gift Aid entries, and preparing bank and other reconciliations
- Preparing end of year accounting returns and tax claims
- Carrying out and documenting internal audit work following written work programme, and producing formal written reports
- Providing training and support to nonfinancial team members as required for their role, including giving feedback on areas where processes are deficient
Essential skills required are:

AAT qualification (full or part-qualified) (similar qualification will be considered),
and/or sufficient relevant experience:

Excellent organisational skills:
- Ability to act as a key representative of the team who would be the conduit for key information and requirements to all team members and associated parties
- An
ability to empathise with all team members and associated parties
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with charitable financial processes
- Experience with auditing (internal or external)
