    Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role as a Social Media Manager at BTF. As aSocial Media Manager, your day-to-day tasks will include managing andexecuting social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content,developing and implementing social media strategies, optimizing socialmedia platforms, and writing compelling copy.

Black Tech Fest (BTF) is seeking a talented and creative Social MediaManager to join our team.

    BTF is a leading organization dedicated tofostering diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

    In this role, youwill play a critical role in developing and executing our social mediastrategy,showcasing the incredible work of Black professionals in tech,and driving awareness for our events.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across allmajor platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)
    • Create engaging and informative content that resonates with our targetaudience (Black professionals in tech, aspiring tech minds, and allies)
    • Manage and grow our social media following across all platforms
    • Schedule and publish regular social media posts
    • Monitor social media trends and conversations relevant to Blackprofessionals in tech
    • Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote BTF events,initiatives, and partnerships
    • Analyze social media data and reporting to measure campaignperformance and identify areas for improvement
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and tools
    • Collaborate with the BTF team to develop and promote content acrossother platforms

    • Proven experience developing and implementing successful social mediacampaigns
    • Strong understanding of social media best practices and analytics
    • Excellent content creation skills (writing, graphic design, videoediting)
    • Experience working in the tech industry (a plus)
    • Passion for diversity and inclusion in tech
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
