SHE1- Permanent Pick and Pack Operative (afters)
Located in Sheffield, S9.

This position is working for our client who are a well-established printing company. This role is suited to someone looking for long term employment who has detailed experience in a warehouse setting.

The role involves storing, dispatching of materials, goods and products to support business operation and meet customers' requirements.


Duties:


  • Carry out prestart checks on all operational equipment and report any damage or defects to the warehouse manager.
  • Take delivery of goods into the warehouse in accordance with the company delivery specification and check for missing or damaged items.
  • Accurately book goods into stock using the computerised stock system
  • Sort and store materials/items onto racking and shelving and accurately record the stock location on the computerised stock system
  • Pick items from throughout the warehouse and prepare and complete warehouse orders for despatch.
  • Deliver goods to production in a timely manner
  • Update computerised stock systems to ensure stock records are accurate
  • Replenish the warehouse pick face and update the stock system accordingly
  • Interact with internal departments/suppliers/customers in pursuance of the stated duties.

Rates of pay:

- £21,673.60 per annum


Hours of work:


  • Monday to Friday 11am 7:30pm

Experience required:


  • Must have experience in a similar role
  • Ideal to have direct goods in / out experience
  • Ideal to have direct packing experience
