    Finished your degree in Drama?

    Not sure what the next step is?

    You have plenty of transferable skills that you can bring from your Drama/Performing Arts degree and apply to a classroom; teamwork, dedication, resilience, motivation, communication and of course, creativity – these are all essential when working with children and young people in schools

    Drama is a great tool that can be used within schools to help students therapeutically, for focus or for confidence Using your creativity, you can help support students' engagement and attitude towards their learning. And as a creative, you will have an open approach to how children can learn.

    Role: Drama Graduate in the classroom.

    Start Date: Tuesday 4th September.

    Location: Bristol

    Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

    Days: Monday - Friday (Part time avaliable)

    You in the role:

    • Encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

    • Can demonstrate effective communication and collaborative skills and bring enthusiasm to the role.

    • Open minded and flexible to work with a variety of students with various needs.

    Roles available:

    • Class teacher – depending on qualifications (QTS needed)
    • Cover supervisor/unqualified teacher – (no qualifications needed)
    • Mentor
    • Behaviour Support Assistant
    • Learning Support Assistant
    • 1:1 support roles
    • Youth Worker

    Qualifications and Experience: (Desirable but not essential)

    • Any previous teaching/youth work experience or any relevant experience working with young people.
    • Any relevant qualifications.
    • Teaching.
    • Safeguarding.
    • First Aid.
    • Youth work.
    • Understanding of National Curriculum.
