Do you have significant procurement experience working in a manufacturing environment? Nine Twenty are looking for an ambitious procurement professional to join our client on a permanent basis.


The Role

  • Continually engage with internal stakeholders to understand the changing needs of each commodity
  • Develop a purchasing strategy and ensure contracts are fit for purpose.
  • Supplier management including sourcing new suppliers
  • Manage vendor performance by way of regular meetings with all necessary stakeholders.
  • Implement new procurement processes and continually looking at areas for improvement
  • Investigating all options/ sources of supply considering logístical complexities ensuring continuity of supply

We are looking for someone has the following experience/skills:

  • Strong procurement knowledge gained in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships throughout the business.
  • Have an approachable and personable disposition and a can do, hands on attitude.
  • Team player with ability to work cross functionally for benefit of whole business.
  • Good listener and communicator
  • Commercially aware with good negotiation skills
  • Able to identify problems and propose and own (if appropriate) solutions
  • Keen interest in continual improvements & processes across entire business in which procurement involved in.
