Campaign Volunteer Opportunity at ACCG

ACCG, a registered charity providing health and social care services in Manchester, is delighted to offer an exciting Volunteer opportunitiy.

This is a non-paid position that offers valuable experience and the chance to give back to the community.

Particular skills we are looking for in this role:

Ability to work within ACCG policies and guidelines.
Enthusiastic and committed to achieving ACCG aims and objectives and motivating others.
Good written communication skills, with accuracy and good attention to detail.
Ability to work well as part of a team and under your own initiative.
Ability to delegate and manage others well.
Organisational and time management skills
Research skills.
Ability to deal in a professional manner when communicating online.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel and the willingness to learn.
Friendly and approachable.

Any additional skills you bring will help us to create a space that reflect the needs of the local communities as well as understand and create sustainable projects that will financially support the cost of restoring and managing the building.

You will be asked to fulfil these duties:

Work with ACCG staff to create campaign ideas.
Conduct campaign research.
Work with Media and Communication volunteers to create campaign media.
Work with Events volunteers to create campaign events.
Strategise advertising and outreach for campaigns.
Strategise fundraising aspects of campaigns.

Weekly basis:

Minimum 4 hours per week (min 16 hours per month).

Volunteers will have the position for 6 months (this term can be extended if required).Volunteers will need to negotiate their time with the Lead Volunteer and Operations Manager or other relevant persons at ACCG.

Volunteers will be reimbursed for agreed out of pocket travel and lunch expenses on a daily basis. Volunteers can also negotiate other perks which might help them find full time work or cover additional costs incurred.
