**_Accounts Assistant (Part-time)

_Our client has a long, successful history of serving the construction industry, growing to a current turnover of almost £20m. Having enjoyed a strong track record of growth in recent years, the company is now looking to further strengthenits Finance function by appointing an Accounts Assistant.
- _Reporting to the FD and working alongside another departmental colleague, you will be responsible for providing a variety for hands-on support, ideally contributing to improving financial information to support decision-making.

_Your key responsibilities as Accounts Assistant will include:

  • *
  • _General financial administration_
- _Purchase/Sales Ledger_
- _VAT returns_
- _Book-keeping_
- _Credit control_
- _Payroll_
- _Assisting with the production of management accounts and other financial information_

As Accounts Assistant you will need:

  • *
  • _Strong recent experience gained in a fast-paced, hands-on, SME environment, such as manufacturing_
- _Experience of both manual and digital accounts_
- _Qualified by experience_
- _Excellent IT skills, fully computer literate - comfortable with Office and accounting software_
- _Personable and positive with an inquisitive mind_
