    Job Title:

    QA EngineernLocation: Largely Remote (2 Office Days per month)nHours of Work: 09:00 – 17:30 or in line with project needsnThe Role :nWe are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Cypress to join our dynamic team.

    In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our software products through the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts using Cypress.

    You will work closely with other members of the team to identify and report defects, improve test coverage, and ensure the overall quality of our software applications.


    Responsibilities:
    n1.


    Test Automation Development:
    Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of our web applications

    n2 Contract testing:
    Develop and maintain contract testing for APIs via Postman and adding them in the pipelines with Newman

    n3 Test Planning:
    Collaborate with the QA team to create comprehensive test plans and test cases in TestRail based on project requirements and user stories

    n4 Test Execution:
    Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report defects. Perform regression testing as necessary.n5.


    Continuous Integration:
    Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) pipeline for regular and automated testing on multiple environments

    n6 Test Data Management:
    Ensure test data availability and integrity for various test scenarios and configurations

    n7 Defect Tracking:

    Track, manage, and report defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA) and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.n8.


    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand product requirements and provide quality assurance feedback

    n9 Performance Testing:
    Contribute to performance and load testing efforts to identify and address scalability and performance issues

    n10 Documentation:
    Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts

    n11 Code Reviews:
    Participate in code reviews to ensure test automation code is maintainable, efficient, and follows best practices.

    Qualifications:

    nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).nProven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Cypress.nProven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a proven record in API testing with PostmannStrong proficiency in test automation using Cypress, including writing and maintaining test scripts.nExperience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.nSolid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and RESTful services.nProficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git).nExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills.nStrong communication and collaboration skills.nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.nRelevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Cypress) are a plus.
