BAM Site Solutions are recruiting a PPE Production Operative to be based at our site in Wellingborough.

Working closely with the Sales Hub Manager, this role has a strong focus on the fulfilment of customer orders, including the preparation of garments with company branded logos.


Your mission

The PPE Production Operative is responsible for:

  • Using embroidery and heat seal machinery for branded clothing
  • Ensuring all products despatched to our customers meet our high quality standards
  • Processing goods received from suppliers ensure that both quality of product and reconciliation to the original purchase order are maintained
  • Picking products required for customer orders and packaging ready for despatch
  • Booking delivery slots with couriers to ensure deliveries leave our warehouse on time
  • Assisting in the counting of stock and reporting of discrepancies to the PPE Production Team Leader
  • Maintaining records and accurate filing systems

Operational

  • Application of heat applied transfers to garments
  • Production of heat applied transfers using a plotter cutter
  • Picking of PPE and garments from picking notes to fulfil customer orders
  • Booking deliveries in with our courier partners
  • Receiving and counting goods in from suppliers

Technical

  • Operating Tajima single head embroidery machines
  • Operating Roland plotter/Cutter CAD Cut Printer
  • Use of heat presses
  • Ability to input data into RentalResults
  • Updating of department shared files

People

  • Always deliver the company values and investigate any complaints raised by the customer in a professional manner to ensure a satisfactory closure is achieved.

  • Experienced in the picking and packing of goods
  • Manual handling
  • Understanding of production workflow
  • Ability to understand and work to the BAM values
