Competencies for the role
- Degree educated
- Minimum 2:
- Finance qualification / relevant degree desirable
- Sage knowledge desirable
- Flexible

- Personable with a positive attitude
- Good MS Office skills including Excel
- Strong time management skills
- Methodical with strong attention to detail
- Posting of Operations, Project, Fixed Asset and ad hoc invoices with the correct coding, ensuring invoices match purchase orders and the purchase orders have been correctly receipted
- Reconciling supplier statements and liaising with suppliers on any discrepancies
- Sending remittance advices to Operations, Project, Fixed Asset suppliers
- Operation suppliers' statement review
- Update plant & machinery / muckaway spreadsheets
- Creating purchase orders for Head Office expenditure
- Filing of purchase ledger invoices, cashbook transaction documentation and supporting documents
- Scanning, naming and saving payments when required for Director approval on the banking platform
- Assistance with Year End audit queries including retrieving copy invoices, etc
- Covering other Finance Assistant's responsibilities when on leave / absent
- Other ad hoc tasks and analysis as required

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
