    As a result of our success and ongoing expansion plans the Range are opening a brand-new Distribution Centre, the largest warehouse built in over 5-years, in Stowmarket, Gateway14 Freeport, just 2 minutes of A14 J50.

    This investment creates great opportunities, and we are currently seeking a Security Investigations First Line Manager.

    Position: Permanent, Full Time

    Hours: 40 hours per week

    Pay Rate : Excellent salary based on experience.

    What does the role entail?

  • Leadership and management control of third-party Security provider and SLA.
  • Working in conjunction with and liaising with the centre's management teams ensuring positive working relationships and be the point of contact for loss prevention / security issues across area of responsibility.
  • Work in close cooperation with peer group including inventory, H&S, planning and HR Manager.
  • Develop and continuous review of disaster recovery plans in relation to site security.
  • Drives process change and improvements whilst maintaining Health & Safety as a priority, developing standard and achieving and exceed all KPI's.
  • Develop and drive robust security protocols and process across the centre.
  • Conduct Investigations into incidents of internal theft and report findings.
  • Complete evidence packs for use in internal disciplinary and criminal prosecutions within company guidelines.
  • Create positive working relationships with external law enforcement and intelligence sharing bodies and represent the business within area of responsibility when required to do so.
  • Support the training and development of distribution colleagues in Loss Prevention activity.
  • Evaluate all areas of the business relevant to your role and make recommendations where efficiencies can be made, or losses reduced.
  • Develop and drive an LP Audit activity within the Centre to ensure compliance with company standards and support the sharing of best practice and developing improvement plans.

  • Team player and great communicator
  • Experience of working in a Warehouse environment is an advantage.
