Overall Objectives/ Purpose of the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proficient Warehouse operator.

As a warehouse operative, you will be responsible for various tasks within our warehouse facility, loading and unloading goods and picking and packing orders.

As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets

Main Duties/ Responsibilities Involved:

Key responsibilities are identical to that of a Warehouse Operative plus the following:

Radio ownership to communicate with Managers and Colleagues.
Liaise with other Depts on a real time basis with regards to changing demand patterns.
Monitoring performance of operators, particularly new recruits and offer coaching and guidance as required.
Highlighting issues or requesting product information from Stock Control
Identifying profiling issues where products are not located in the optimum positions.
Manage breaks effectively within the times allowed.
Ensure basic discipline is maintained within the Dept at all times.
Assist in the planning and execution of all daily tasks
Give regular feedback to Operations Manager in terms of individual operational performances
Have a duty of care for all company resources
Continuously look for improvements in own work area.
Support DC Managers in project work
Provide input into performance monitoring and recording
Ensure that all site compliance procedures are complied with.
Ensure that site hygiene standards are met
Share best practice with others and attend Team meetings as required***
